Why Certify with Cisco Systems
"Some analysts estimate the Worlwide Gap between Skilled Networking Professionals and Available Networking Jobs of all types will reach nearly 3 Million by 2012." - Certification Magazine
An Industry of Unending Growth...
Is there any doubt that Cisco is and will continue to be the #1 network equipment manufacturer in the world? And, in fact, Cisco is the only vendor that has an established testing methodology that is accepted as the industry standard.
Moreover, the study materials and tests are logical and display a good progressive path of learning as you go from the CCNA to the CCNP to the CCVP and beyond.
Working as a Cisco Certified Engineer means good pay in a stimulating enviroment. Here are some recent Salary Surveys:

The Certification Process
The Cisco Certification Process is fairly simple. You Study, You Test. Its knowing the material that can be the hard part. You'll be required to go to a Certified Testing Center by signing up online. Questions will range from multiple choice to Live Simulations. You can get more specifics in our FAQ section. The tests can be expensive so you dont want to fail. Every retake costs up to $250 depending on the Certification. With our Home Labs, we Guarantee you will Pass the first time!

The CCNA
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. This new curriculum also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).

The CCVP
Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP®) validates advance knowledge and skills required to integrate into underlying network architectures. Furthermore, this certification validates a robust set of skills in implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a converged IP network. With a CCVP certification, a network professional can help create a telephony solution that is transparent, scalable, and manageable. The CCVP curriculum focuses on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (formerly Unified CallManager), quality of service (QoS), gateways, gatekeepers, IP phones, voice applications, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst switches.
PREREQUISITE: CCNA Voice or any CCIE Certification can act as a pre-requisite.

How Does a Home Lab Help Me with My Studies
The bulk of the test is based on IOS functionality. In addition, there are simulations on the exam that account for a large percentage of your final score. In order to study effectively, you must get your hands into an Actual Network.
Whether you are studying for CCNA, setting up a EIGRP Routing Network; or the CCVP, trunking SIP VOIP Trunks to your Cisco Call Manager Express PBX; you can not simulate or study for real life problems that you might encounter. Its during this discovery that you will learn the most as well as make yourself functional to an employer.
In real life situations, networks connections are not lines on a paper and programming code can vary from IOS to IOS. In order to learn properly what Cisco wants you to know, on Genuine Cisco devices, you must practice as many scenarios as possible and deal with them them as you would in the field.
